Randy Craig is an avid hiker and photographer living in Portland, Oregon. He frequently travels throughout the Pacific Northwest, hiking hundreds of miles and taking thousands of photographs each year, always wondering what great discovery lies just around the next corner or just over the next rise in the landscape. His passion is to discover and photograph fresh new material not already seen by the viewing public to the point of instant recognition. He realizes that not everyone has the desire, or perhaps the ability or opportunity, to go where he goes. However, the capacity to appreciate the beauty of what he captures with a camera is virtually universal.

Randy does not limit his photography strictly to the study of nature but incorporates elements of nature and natural beauty in his work whenever possible. He also embraces new technology and appreciates how it has expanded the horizon of artistic expression and experimentation. He plans to never retire from photography because there will always be something new to see, new to learn, and exciting to share.
